APACS, the UK payments association, co-ordinates the banking industry's fight against card fraud.

As a result it sponsors the work of the DCPCU on behalf of its member banks and also co-ordinates a whole range of other fraud prevention initiatives such as chip and PIN.

It also collates and publishes UK card fraud losses and these can be found on APACS' special card fraud prevention website at www.cardwatch.org.uk
